BNV X Lightsum X Weinsanto NFT collection will drop in October 2022
During the ongoing Paris Fashion Week, being held from September 26 to October 4, 2022, where many prominent designers are showcasing their spring/summer collections 2023, the collaboration between French designer Victor Weinsanto, Virtual Fashion company BNV, and K-Pop girl band LIGHTSUM, has grabbed headlines this year with their M3TALOVE collection.
On September 26, 2022, following Weinsanto’s ready-to-wear 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week, the M3TALOVE 3D Hologram NFT collection was unveiled at an exclusive industry event in 3537, the hottest cultural space in the fashion capital.
LIGHTSUM is an eight-member K-POP girl group under the South Korean company Cube Entertainment. The group’s lineup consists of: Nayoung, Hina, Juhyeon, Sangah, Chowon, Yujeong, Huiyeon, and Jian, and their debut single “Vanilla” was released on June 10, 2021.
During the recent KCON 2022 event, which was held from August 19–21, at Crypto.com Arena (earlier Staples Center), in Los Angeles, the group performed on the first two days, and French designer Victor Weinsanto was amongst the 90,000+ fans who were mesmerized by the group’s performance.
Weinsanto’s collaboration with BNV to conjure metaverse-ready fashions, featuring the unique personalities of each of the 8 members, was a new challenge for the French designer, who previously worked with Jean Paul Gaultier before launching his namesake line in 2020.
BNV, an acronym for Brand New Vision, is a Hong Kong based Web3.0 fashion brand, which is on a mission to take fashion beyond physical reality and into the metaverse.

After their creative online-conversations and in-person meeting at KCON 2022, BNV and Weinsanto worked alongside LIGHTSUM members to create the M3TALOVE collection. Infusing personality traits of the group members with his cabaret-inspired design, Weinsanto created an immersive and interactive digital fashion collection.
Today, thanking the BNV team, Victor shared the project on his official Instagram (@weinsanto) with the following message:
