Blake Kathryn and K POP Group Aespa’s NFT Collection will be auctioned on Sothebys Metaverse
The NFT auction department of Sotheby’s, the oldest fine art auctioneers in the world, announced today the dates for the much awaited Blake Kathryn × Aespa NFT Collection, and K-POP fans of the girl group and aesthete of Blake Kathryn are elated by the news.
The digital art collection is called “æ girls” and consists of three part series of digital artworks, namely: “MY Pass,” “Altars, and “Dreamspace.” The æspa x Blake Kathryn NFT collection will be auctioned online on Sotheby’s metaverse, a digital marketplace for NFTs, from October 13–21, 2022, and will unlock access to exclusive content, secret recorded messages, IRL meet-and-greet perks, and entry to the Aespa metaverse.
Aespa (stylized as æspa), is a four-member South Korean girl group, which debuted in November 2020 with their digital single “Black Mamba,” under SM Entertainment. The K-POP group is one of the successful and fast-rising groups, with massive popularity amongst the gen-z.

In 2022, the group won Artist of the Year at the Golden Disc Awards, made it into Forbes’ 30 under 30 Asia list in the Entertainment & Sports category, and was featured in Times Next Generation Leaders. Sotheby’s Metaverse is a premium destination for NFT and digital art, and each year, three highly curated marquee NFTs and digital art from the most sought-after digital artists and creators are held online, represented by its expert positioned in New York, London, Paris, and Hong Kong.
Blake Kathryn is a world-renowned 3D artist, based in Los Angeles, known for her vibrant palettes and surreal futurescapes. Her previous work for clients like Adidas, Fendi, The New York Times, Adobe, American rapper Lil Nas X, and fashion icon Paris Hilton, has garnered rave reviews, placing her as the leading NFT artist in the world.
The Singapore-based brand experience agency INVNT.ATOM (@invntatom) and connecting dotts pte ltd (@TeamDotts), which specializes in the web3 branding with the Korean entertainment industry, facilitated this Blake Kathryn × Aespa collaboration, which will be on display at Sotheby’s galleries in New York and Hong Kong.
